Gottlieb Crosstown Pinball Machine in Crowborough, East Sussex for sale

Gottlieb Crosstown Pinball Machine: A highly collectable and desirable wedge head by Gottlieb from 1966. This machine is in overall good condition and plays well. - The cabinet paintwork has held up well considering its age, the paintwork has worn however on the corners and on the front of the cabinet somewhat. - The head glass is in good condition with relatively few scratches and no cracks. - The play field is in fair condition with a few chips to the paintwork. It has been cleaned and waxed and is nice and smooth. I have fitted new rubbers all over and the original instructions card is still there. - I have fitted new subway doors which work perfectly. I have kept the old ones as well and will include them with the sale. - I have recently put new balls in the game. - The chrome surrounding the edges of the play field has been cleaned and looks good. The chrome legs, face plate and doors have been sanded down, but are heavily pitted in places. - The original back doors is included. I have sanded it down, but it is heavily pitted and has lost its gold colour. - Mechanically the game works well, but quite a few of the lamps do not come on. I am not knowledgeable about EM machines, but assume it is because of corrosion. - I am selling as need to make space and would rather the machine goes to a real enthusiast.
